enjoy. the. journey. introduction.

I have always been one that writes everything down, paper and a pen are my brain! Not only do I write to share my discoveries, failures and successes with others but I write to heal myself. Those words are expelled from my brain, so I can finally step back from them and clarify, analyze, observe and learn. Writing is vital and so many people have not discovered that. My dear high school English teacher and Forensics (Acting/Debate) coach reminded all of her graduating seniors that no matter what the situation may be, whether we are celebrating a great success, coping with a tremendous loss or getting through the daily grind, your trusty friends, paper and pencil will always be there. Your most engulfed moments to your loneliest moments, they will always be there. They help you cope, celebrate, prosper, think and grow as a human being.
As a closing thought, the title of my blog "enjoy the journey" came from a necklace I once wore with the same quote. Life IS a journey, a very rough one but one that should be nothing but enjoyed. So, to all of you-Enjoy your journey, one day at a time.-
